“Great location, pleasant stay”
Hotel Collodi was a perfect fit for our 4 night stay in Florence in September 2015. The hotel is on a small very quiet street just steps from the San Lorenzo market and church, and the Central Market. It is also a very short walk to the SMN train station, Accedemia, Duomo, and all sights in Florence. For reference, the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery.
The hotel itself was impeccably clean; the room was surprisingly spacious for a European hotel. The linens were freshly pressed on arrival, the bathroom was spotless and the room had air conditioning and great wifi. Breakfast was provided each morning which was simple but adequate: croissants and rolls, yogurt and fruit, hardboiled eggs, juices and espressos. The staff at the hotel was all English speaking, more than friendly and ensured a pleasant stay.
